This router features three modes: Normal, Backup and Load Balance Mode.

  • Normal Mode: In this mode, the second WAN port is never activated.

  • Backup Mode: Once enabled, the 2nd WAN port is automatically activated when the 1st WAN port is not available for service or is disconnected from the Internet.

  • Load Balance Mode: Once enabled, the 2nd WAN port is automatically activated when the pre-set utilization of the 1st WAN port is reached.
